On January 22nd, the II Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia Meeting took place inClínica La Luz, headed by GrupoQuirónSalud. The Spanish Urology Association and theMadrid Urology Society were the organizers of the event.
Doctor Javier Romero Otero, in collaboration with DMR Urologists of Clínica La Luz Urology Unit organized the meeting program: José Manuel Duarte Ojeda, José Manuel de La Morena Gallego, José Luis García Callado, Borja García Gómez and LucíaGarcía.
The meeting was divided in 3 sessions, looking into the technological advances and new techniques of Holmium laser surgery treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia.It is a pioneeringtechnique in Spain, recognised as the best option for prostatic interventions in the Good Clinical Practices published by the Urology European Association.
The meeting included benign prostatic hyperplasia surgeries, treated with different lasers to show various surgical techniques.
Over a hundred Urology experts from all over Spain were present in the meeting to up-closethe work of national and international first-level surgeons.
