Among Spain’s 300 Best Doctors: Gratitude, Responsibility and Teamwork

Being recognised by El Español as one of Spain’s 300 Best Doctors and being included among the 20 distinguished professionals in the field of Urology and Gynaecology in the 2026 Healthcare Observatory is news that fills me with gratitude, pride and a deep sense of responsibility.

I am truly honoured to be part of this selection alongside so many leading professionals in Spanish medicine. This recognition comes at a particularly exciting time for urology, as scientific and technological advances continue to transform our specialty, enabling us to provide more accurate diagnoses and increasingly personalised treatments for our patients.

However, individual recognition never tells the whole story. Behind every consultation, surgical procedure, research project and educational initiative are many people working towards the same goal: improving patients’ lives.

For this reason, I see this distinction as a shared achievement. It belongs to the outstanding team at ROC Clinic, to the professionals at HM Hospitales, and to all the colleagues and collaborators with whom I have the privilege of working both in Spain and internationally across clinical practice, surgery, research, education and innovation.

Medical Excellence Is Always a Team Effort

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with exceptional professionals at leading national and international institutions. These experiences have reinforced a belief that has guided me from the very beginning: medical excellence is never the result of one person alone.

Modern medicine requires multidisciplinary teams capable of bringing together knowledge, experience, technology and research in order to provide the highest standard of care. Every advance is ultimately the result of a collective effort.

Thank You for Your Trust

I would especially like to thank the patients who place their trust in us. Their trust is our greatest responsibility and, at the same time, our strongest motivation to continue growing professionally and striving for excellence.

This recognition is a tremendous honour, but it is also an encouragement to continue working with the same enthusiasm, humility and commitment that have guided my professional journey so far.

Because medicine is, above all, a collective endeavour.
