We held ILUTS24, a high-level scientific congress for international Urology

On September 26th and 27th, 2024, we held the seventh edition of the International Lower Urinary Symptoms and Stones Congress (ILUTS 2024). As the organizer of this scientific event, I can proudly say that this edition was a true success and an enriching experience for all of us who are part of the urological community. After months of preparation and dedication, seeing how the congress unfolded with the presence of outstanding professionals and the active participation of attendees has been incredibly rewarding.

This year, we set out to exceed expectations and address topics of great importance for the future of our specialty, focusing on the management of urolithiasis and Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). From technological innovations to the latest surgical techniques and treatments, ILUTS24 has been an ideal platform for sharing knowledge and fostering the exchange of ideas. The presentations and debates have once again highlighted the importance of bringing together specialists from around the world to reflect on the challenges and opportunities we face.

One of the aspects I am most proud of is having put together such a comprehensive and dynamic program, which included not only high-level scientific sessions but also practical workshops and roundtable discussions where topics were approached from a multidisciplinary perspective. This variety of formats allowed each participant to find a space to learn, debate, and, most importantly, share their personal experiences.

I sincerely thank all the speakers, moderators, and attendees who made this edition possible. I also want to acknowledge the support of our sponsors and collaborators, without whom it would have been impossible to carry out such an ambitious project. Their contributions were essential in creating an environment conducive to learning and innovation.

ILUTS24 is not just an academic meeting point, but a space where we all share a passion for improving the quality of life of our patients. Every conversation, every presentation, and every new contact made during the congress is another step towards excellence in our daily practice.

I feel very fortunate to have been part of this experience, and I am already thinking about how to surpass what we achieved this year in future editions. Thank you all for your support and trust in this project. We will continue working to position ILUTS as an international reference in the field of urology.

See you at the next edition of ILUTS!
