It has been an honor for me and the entire ROC Clinic team to participate once again in the Annual European Association of Urology (EAU) Congress, held this year in Madrid from March 21 to 24. This event is one of the most important gatherings in the field of urology worldwide and offers a unique opportunity to share knowledge, technological advances, and experiences with colleagues from all over the world.
This edition of the EAU Congress was even more special for us, as we were the group with the most live surgeries, performing a prostate enucleation, a robot-assisted radical prostatectomy, and an aquablation. We are also proud that our hospital, HM Hospitales Sanchinarro, was selected as one of the medical centers to host the congress’s surgical activities.
Because of this, and because 13 of our urologists actively participated in the scientific program, I feel truly honored by the trust the EAU has placed in us.
Personally, I had the pleasure of participating with a live Thulium Fiber Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (TFLEP), as well as contributing to panel discussions and delivering two lectures on “Implants in Functional and Reconstructive Urology” and “Why Endoscopic Enucleation Will Always Surpass Other Techniques.”
Tackling the main challenges we face in modern urology and exploring new solutions that are revolutionizing our specialty has been incredibly fulfilling. It also reflects our commitment to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement in the treatment of urological conditions.
At ROC Clinic, we remain deeply committed to ongoing education and the advancement of urology, with the clear purpose of delivering cutting-edge treatments and the highest level of care. I’m proud to stand alongside my colleagues at this world-class event and to continue contributing to the global progress of urology.
