Dr. Javier Romero-Otero will participate in one of the ISSM University programs. The ISSM University is the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM) official eLearning portal. It offers access to a wide variety of educational materials in sexual medicine, like activities, presentations, case studies/discussions with experts and important educational publications.
These courses are aimed at both HCPs who want to enhance their knowledge in sexual medicine as well as for trainees and residents. All members through one of ISSM affiliated societies can freely access the platform.
In this sense, the first eight modules of the ISSM curriculum are now available at ISSM University. One of them, named ‘Erectile Dysfunction Surgical Treatment – Penile Prosthesis’, is taught by Javier Romero-Otero, Borja García González y Manuel Alonso Isa, all members of the Urología Tratamiento team. This module focuses on aspects related to penile prosthesis like types of penile prosthesis, indications for surgery, etc.
