The 21st Meeting of the Association of Academic European Urologists (AAEU), organized by the European Association of Urology (EAU), took place from November 30 to December 3, 2023 on the beautiful island of Tenerife.
The meeting has brought together leading urology professionals from around the world, creating a unique space for the exchange of knowledge and discussion of the latest advances in this area of medicine.
Specifically, my intervention has focused on the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, presenting a comparison of the technique of prostate enucleation with holmium laser (HoLEP) versus thulium laser (TFL) and Aquablation (Aqua).
This meeting has given me the opportunity to present the challenges and innovations in the treatment of benign prostatic enlargement, sharing perspectives with senior colleagues. The collaborative atmosphere and the quality of the presentations have made this experience an unforgettable opportunity.
I am deeply grateful to David Castro, the local organizer of this meeting, and the entire team that made this meeting possible and congratulate them for the superb scientific program they designed.
I hope to continue contributing to the advancement of urology through these enriching meetings.
