ESGURS, the EAU Section of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons, organizes the ESGURS meeting, an annual event that gathers the best in the field to deliver the latest and most relevant developments. The ESGURS has a board of eight experts of which I have the honor of being a member.
As a Spanish and European reference center, we have been chosen this year, like in 2016, to organized the ESGURS20. The 12th edition of the meeting was scheduled in October 2020 in Madrid. However, due to Covid-19, this meeting has been postponed and it will be organized in October 2021 in Madrid.
Every year, this meeting is packed with live surgery sessions of urologic reconstruction such as urethra stenosis, urethral fistulas, male incontinence, Peyronie’s disease, and penile prosthesis. Besides, ESGURS20’s two-day program counts with roundtable discussions, lively deliberations and case presentations. For this reason, the meeting has to be organized by institutions with the highest of expertise like ours, accredited as a reference center by the Spanish Health Ministry and other European Medical Networks. All of this has the objective to enrich the participant’s knowledge and to update all of you on the latest news.
