{"id":37621,"date":"2024-04-29T09:03:03","date_gmt":"2024-04-29T07:03:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/drjromero-otero.com\/?p=37621"},"modified":"2024-04-30T15:56:48","modified_gmt":"2024-04-30T13:56:48","slug":"our-scientific-contribution-at-the-european-u-congress-eau24","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/drjromero-otero.com\/en\/our-scientific-contribution-at-the-european-u-congress-eau24\/","title":{"rendered":"Our scientific contribution at EAU Congress 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Once again this year, I have had the pleasure of enjoying an exciting week at the EAU Congress 2024, organized by the European Association of Urology, from April 5 to 8, in Paris.<\/p>\n<p>It is the most relevant European scientific meeting in urology and, therefore, it is a great pride to attend this meeting along with all my team of <a href=\"https:\/\/rocclinic.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ROC Clinic<\/a> and HM Hospitales to actively participate in lectures and discussions:<\/p>\n<p>In this edition, I have had the honor to make my contribution as follows:<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udde3 Speaker of \u00abDevelopment of different types of penile prosthesis\u00bb<br \/>\n\ud83d\udde3 Speaker of \u00abThe difficult implant: Peyronie\u2019s, priapism, fibrotic penis\u00bb<br \/>\n\ud83d\udde3 Speaker of \u00abState of the art debates in reconstructive surgery: Penile surgery can increase the penile length \u2013 aesthetic fact?\u00bb<br \/>\n\ud83d\udde3 Speaker of \u00abPenile prosthesis 101: Antibiotics to be replaced by antiseptic during penile prosthesis implantation?\u00bb<br \/>\n\ud83d\udc64 Chair of \u00abBPO surgery: Ablative surgical options\u00bb<br \/>\n\ud83d\udd18 Moderator of \u00abPenile reconstruction: Making it straight but not narrow\u00bb<\/p>\n<h2>Our scientific papers presented at EAU24:<\/h2>\n<p>In addition, our team presented four scientific papers developed entirely in our centers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Holmium versus Thulium laser for Renal Stone Lithotripsy during Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery: Outcomes from a prospective multicenter study.<\/li>\n<li>Prospective comparison between Da Vinci and Hugo RAS platforms in robot-assisted partial nephrectomy.<\/li>\n<li>Prospective and comparative study to evaluate the impact of the male masturbation device \u201cControleyac\u00ae\u201d by Androgenital\u00ae on premature ejaculation: Functional results, safety, and satisfaction assessment.<\/li>\n<li>Patient derived renal cell carcinoma organoids and isolated autologous tumor infiltrating lymphocytes as cancer in vitro models for immunotherapy agents screening.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From here,\u00a0I would like to express my gratitude to all the team that has worked on this research with the aim of improving the lives of patients. Scientific research plays a crucial role in preventing diseases, promoting personalized medicine, increasing life expectancy, decreasing suffering caused by diseases and significantly improving people&#8217;s quality of life.
